2013 Woodward Collection
Tesoro Pinot Noir

Tasting Notes

This wine displays enticing aromas of strawberry, doris plums and cassis.  On the palate, a soft, silky mouthfeel compliments the layers of lasting fruit flavours.

Winemaking Notes

“Tesoro” meaning treasure in Italian exemplifies the elegance and finesse of our flagship Pinot Noir. Patiently aged for 18 months in French oak before resting an additional year in the bottle.

Food Pairings

Pinot Noir is the best varietal for food pairing because of it’s flexibility.  John’s favorite is a carefully seasoned Rib Eye Steak but it is equally satisfying with Christmas Turkey or Thanksgiving Ham.
