Sorpresa Rosso, meaning red surprise in Italian, is a surprise and exciting blend of our estate Baco Noir and Marechal Foch along with Merlot and Cabernet Franc from Osoyoos, BC. Aged for 8 months in oak barriques, this medium bodied red shows bold aromas of black cherries and plum. The palate offers ripe black fruits with notes of blackberry, mocha and vanilla bean.

Aged for 8 months in oak barriques, this medium-bodied red was fermented and aged separately and blended at the end, showing bold aromas of black cherries and plum. The palate shows ripe black fruits with notes of blackberry, mocha, and vanilla bean.

With medium tannin and acidity, this Sorpresa Rosso will pair exceptionally well with many foods. Experiment with chicken or a good juicy hamburger. Roasted vegetables and creamy or tomato sauces are easy pairings.
